Review of the BacTrack S75 Pro
Posted by The Breathalyzer Team on 11/25/2010 to Product News

BacTrack S75Welcome to another review from Breathalyzer Canada. Today we are reviewing the BacTrack S75 Pro Alcohol Breathalyzer. This is the newest product offering from BacTrack and it doesn't disappoint.

Let's start with what makes this product so unique, the fuel cell sensor. At this price point you would be hard pressed to find a more accurate device. The S75 borrows its sensing technology from the BacTrack S80 Pro, which is one of our most accurate devices. This device is calibrated to accurately determine your blood alcohol content with a margin of error of only 0.005 %BAC - amazing!

BackTrack S75 side viewThe design is also unique, the receptacle for the mouthpiece is located on the front of the device. This design works very well as it allows the user to view the LCD screen while blowing into the device. Fuel-cell technology also takes up a lot of room inside the device. This makes most fuel-cell breathalyzers quite large. The Bactrack S75 Pro uses an ergonomic design on the back side of the device to both make it easy to hold and contain electronics.

The LCD screen is large and easy-to-read. It is also backlit for viewing in dim lighting conditions.

The Bactrack S75 Pro comes with the following accessories:
  • Soft case
  • 2 - AA batteries
  • 6 - individually packaged mouthpieces
  • Instruction manual
  • Wrist lanyard

After thoroughly reviewing and testing this device, we have decided to award it four stars. Highlights include; enhanced accuracy due to the fuel-cell sensor, ease-of-use and build quality. If the device was slightly smaller and came with a hard case we would of five starred this breathalyzer.
